Welcome to Blythe - a classic, timeless and elegant home, a sanctuary of refined beauty and enduring style. Blythe is a meticulously designed 3400 sqft residence in West Coast, designed for a family of four – a husband, wife, and two pre-teen/teen daughters. The brief involved designing and furnishing a home to meet the needs of the family for the next 15 years.
Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of timeless elegance, from classic architectural features, exquisite craftsmanship, carpentry finishes and stone finishes showcase the attention to detail that defines Blythe. From the foyer to the elegant living spaces and lavish bedrooms, every room is a masterpiece of design, meticulously crafted to create a unique blend for the family.
Our design philosophy harmonizes beauty with functionality, ensuring space planning enhances daily living. The result is a design that is both clean and timeless, seamlessly integrating into the family’s routine
In the living areas, the foyer features the Aromas Delie Wall Light, while the oversized sofa, bespoke coffee table and leather armchairs invite relaxation and conversation. An extensive TV console accentuates the room’s height and are complemented by custom wall pendant lights with brass finishes, serving as a focal point of the room, providing both warmth and ambiance on chilly evenings. The dining room features a beautiful Aromas Delie Chandelier that sets the tone in the room.
The kitchen is a chef’s dream, equipped with a downdraft system, integrated dishwasher, and dedicated baking tray storage. It’s gleaming stone countertops, custom cabinetry and state-of-the-art appliances make meal preparation a pleasure. A large island offers ample room for meal preparation and conversations, allowing the host and hostess to entertain in style. The powder room features dark tones for change, highlighted by the Corvidae sink and Pilke Signature 18 wall lamp.
The stairway features a commissioned art piece by Kristian Somera. Upstairs, the bedrooms are havens of tranquillity and comfort, with soft bedding, textiles and furnishings that make each room its own. The en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom features a stone countertop, soaking tub and oversized showers, offering a spa-like retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. Each room is a retreat unto itself, offering a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Outside, the grounds are an oasis of serenity and beauty. From the classic architecture to the timeless interior design, every aspect of this home speaks to a sense of beauty and enduring style.

Blythe was originally outdated as it was left in its built-in condition from the 1970s, it was completely remodeled to suit the needs of a young family of four.
We remodeled the interior level one to accommodate to the family’s entertaining and hosting needs, a dry kitchen, a wet kitchen, a guest bedroom and a helper’s room. At the second level, the master bathroom was enlarged while the two junior bedrooms were designed to be of the same size with a Jack and Jill bathroom in between. The family area was transformed to a see-through study room so the entire family can spend the afternoons doing work together.
