CLIENT BRIEF

The Nellie project is a transformation of  an outdated terrace into a contemporary modern home. The interior has undergone a remarkable overhaul  to achieve the look of a timeless and modern sanctuary tailored for a  young family. To summarise Nellie into a sentence: it is a home that celebrates  simplicity, functionality, and timeless elegance, whilst creating rooms for a harmonious and tranquil retreat to the residents. 
 

Nellie’s living and dining area exudes a sense of serenity and warmth through its uncluttered spaces and choice of natural materials. Light, neutral colour palettes paired with  white and wooden tones create an airy and inviting atmosphere. The use of natural lighting to fill the space, makes the home both inviting and energetic. 
 

A priority in all our design efforts was to focus  on functionality and practicality without sacrificing style. This can be seen in the kitchen cabinets design, adding a top cabinet to the design while creating textures in the bottom doors through a soft beige shaker profile design. This final look of the kitchen cabinets aligned seamlessly with the rest of the home. 
 

The bedroom was cladded in the cozy embrace of warm wooden vinyl stickers on the walls. The TV feature wall was also enhanced with a textured sticker, adding depth and visual interest to the focal point of the room. Thoughtfully selected décor pieces such as textiles and artwork added personality and charm to the room without overwhelming the senses. We are very pleased with how the home turned out.
