CLIENT BRIEF

To redesign a home that suits the lifestyle and taste for the newly wed couple

Willow is a blend of warm earthy colours with natural and organic elements - such as plants and wood tones - that brings nature and autumn into the home. Full of life and culture, each carefully selected furniture and decorative piece introduces unique characteristics to the space, where vintage charm meets Chinese and Western influences in a delightful fusion of cultures and styles.

Throughout the home, an eclectic mix of artwork, textiles, and decor accessories reflects the homeowners' love of travel and appreciation for diverse cultures. From vintage Chinese cabinets to Western-inspired oil paintings and bohemian wall hangings, each piece tells a story and adds to the overall charm and character of the space.

This bookcase is the focal point of the home. We went with arches on top to soften the look, brown beadings for a European touch, a groove line feature on the shelves and dark wood laminate backing for a textured effect. A collection of eclectic decor items—perhaps a mix of Chinese porcelain vases, Western-inspired sculptures, and bohemian trinkets—adds visual interest and personal flair.

Moving to the bedroom, a brown bed frame with an array of vintage-inspired linens and throw pillows grounds the room. Against one wall, a striking antique Chinese cabinet serves as both a focal point and a functional storage solution, its rich wood tones and ornate carvings adding an air of exotic elegance to the space. 

In essence, this vintage, Chinese and Western-influenced, boho home interior is a celebration of cultural diversity and individuality, where eclectic elements come together to create a vibrant and harmonious living environment. It's a space that invites you to explore, dream, and connect with the world around you, while embracing the beauty and richness of different cultures and design styles.
